BarthHaas is a leading hop trading company based in southern Germany. Every summer, the company visits up to 30 hop gardens in Bavaria to assess the plant health and disease infestation of various hop varieties. Until now, the data was recorded with pen and paper and digitized manually.
To simplify the process, we have integrated a customized module into our field application that allows data to be entered directly on site and immediately exported as a PDF or Excel file. The data is automatically supplemented with information on the individual weather conditions for each hop garden.
We have also digitized all hop-growing regions around the world and integrated them into our Croptify app to monitor vegetation health and growing conditions. BarthHaas uses this information to make data-driven decisions.
